Scope
The continued development of international business and global trade flows in the current context of a globalized world—marked by political, economic, and military crises, along with the post-pandemic scenario—has highlighted the challenge of new practices and regulations, requiring continuous updating in the study of international trade.
The Maritime Agency II Course aims to address in detail and deepen knowledge related to maritime agency activities, covering its functions, associated issues, and applicable regulatory frameworks. The course provides both theoretical and practical approaches, following the operational course of a vessel from its arrival at Recalada to its final destination at port.Objectives
- To train and provide participants with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge related to maritime agency functions.
- To provide an updated overview of the concepts, institutions, and tools governing maritime agency activities.
- To equip participants with sufficient analytical tools to address and structure common operational problems and support decision-making in value chains.
Target Audience
Shipping agency and Customs Transport Agent (ATA) employees, port terminals, customs brokers, exporters, importers, and all professionals or individuals related to international trade—both public and private sector—who wish to deepen their knowledge of maritime agency activities. It is recommended to have completed and passed the course “General Knowledge of Maritime Agency” offered by the Center.
Methodology
Remote instruction delivered through virtual platforms, with active student participation.
